MEDICARE THERAPY CAPS NOW IN PLACE

After years of opposition, Medicare Part B therapy caps went into place on January 1, 2010. In addition, they may implement a 21 percent decrease in reimbursement. This makes our advocacy to repeal or extend the exceptions process necessary immediately to prevent the rationing of care for patients in dire need of occupational therapy services.
