Event Information

The purpose of this course is to review neuroanatomy as it relates to rehabilitation for occupational and physical therapy practice. A variety of impairments as related to anatomical lesion sites will be discussed via the use of research studies and or case reports. Treatment interventions based on instructor’s experience, evidence-based practice and participants’ suggestions will be offered as options for patient care. Using lesion sites information, your patients would have a better-developed and precise plan of care to address impairments, thus leading to a restoration of movement or compensation strategy to safely function in the environment.
