Book: Antiracist Occupational Therapy: Unsettling the Status Quo
Editor: Musharrat J. Ahmed-Landeryou

We are continuing to read from Antiracist Occupational Therapy: Unsettling the Status Quo edited by Musharrat J. Ahmed-Landeryou.

This month, we’re reading: Chapter 5: Experiences of Racism in Occupational Therapy Clinical Education

Why: We chose this book because of its one of a kind look at our profession and study of occupational science through the perspective of scholars dedicated to occupational justice.

How: The meetings will begin with establishing norms for the space, reviewing authors and their contributions, a brief review of themes of the chapter, and ending with focused discussion to guide our reflections and critical conversation.

You are not required to purchase the book; however, it is strongly encouraged to deepen our discussions together!
