It is vital that occupational and physical therapy practitioners address falls throughout the continuum of care and have a thorough understanding of the multiple factors, which contribute to falls.
This course will focus on providing therapists with various treatment ideas to improve function for patients with CVA, TBI, and other neurological deficits. The presentation includes the use of updated digital video to practice movement analysis and demonstrate the impact of different interventions.
This 2-day workshop has been designed for speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists who need greater experience in focusing on rib cage activity and its influence on postural control and respiratory, general movement, and oral-pharyngeal function in terms of the evaluation and treatment services they provide.
