This session will bring together the Keck 3D Printing Team and the Neural Plasticity and Neurorehabilitation Lab (NPNL) to discuss the evolving role of 3D (three-dimensional) printing in occupational therapy. The presenters will share insights into clinical workflows, interdisciplinary collaboration, and how emerging technologies support adaptive solutions that promote independence and engagement in meaningful occupations. This session will include time for Q&A/networking.
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Identify key steps in the clinical workflow for designing and fabricating 3D-printed assistive devices within the occupational therapy practice.
- Describe how interdisciplinary collaboration and emerging technologies can enhance client participation, independence, and occupational engagement through customized adaptive solutions.
