As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to transform healthcare, questions arise about which aspects of clinical practice can – and should – be automated. In occupational therapy, however, the essence of care remains inherently human. While AI offers unprecedented efficiency and data-driven insights, evidence consistently shows that empathy, ethical reasoning, contextual judgement, and creative problem-solving are indispensable to therapeutic success. This webinar will highlight the current impact of AI on occupational therapy including exploring the innovative benefits and concerns of AI on our practice standards and educational frameworks.

Participants will be able to:
- Describe the rise of AI in occupational therapy and healthcare overall.
- Learn about current AI innovation tools integrated across practice operations and services.
- Understand theoretical framework transformation for human-centered practice and the limits of automation.
